Hebrews 4:16

Happy Tuesday! Eric continued to fight his nap until it was almost time to get up and then decided to fall asleep! I had to fight to get him up but during his very tiny nap I did manage to get a quick card done and I am in LOVE with it. My mom had something very scary happen yesterday (I'll explain more later) and I think this is the perfect thing to give to her during this time of need.

The sketch is Kazan's Sketch #5 this week (LOVE it!) but I modified it just a little bit. I FINALLY got to use my new Bella Rose DSP which will be in the new Stampin' Up! catalog in August. I used one side of patterned paper for the back panel and flipped it and used the other side for my other "rose" panel. Both were mounted on Papertrey white cardstock (only one layer...I told you it was simple!). The square is a piece of Basic Grey chipboard that I sponged using Riding Hood Red ink. I stamped the sentiment (from Pray Without Ceasing) in Chocolate Chip and attached it to my chipboard to make a frame.I added some Swarvozski crystals and a little flower from the SU Pretties Kit to give a little bling and the Chocolate Chip grosgrain finishes off the card.

I think I am getting more and more into the simple and a little out of the layers and over the top cards...maybe not... I think depending on my mood I stamp different. Do you guys do that too?

I got my first Paper Pretties stamps yesterday (woohoo!!) so I will be inking those up today fo-sho! I'll see you tomorrow for another Belli Challenge!!
